TRAVEL TO LEARN

Have you ever thought about pitching all bad things and go somewhere far far away? Of course you have; I’m saying we all do. I am thinking most people dream of traveling around the world. Some may do this with business on the other edge. But each of these persons would love to just tour around (that includes picture-takings) and shop their hearts away! I mean, who wouldn’t find it irresistible to see the hustling America, romantic Europe, staggering Africa and exquisite Asia. If you have this dream, don’t give up and do something about it! Don’t just scroll through photo streams of remarkable sceneries and lip smacking dishes.

However, remember to learn to put a price tag on a dream. This way, you’ll have the best worth for your money. Then, make your itinerary! This is where your initial excitement exudes! When you’re already on the road, construct your own “statement to save” – such as “Is this activity worth a day?” and “Will I get a better worth with it during night?” (But sometimes, it doesn’t work! Haha!) What’s important is the delight, fulfillment and awareness you’ll gain.

Why am I sharing these matters? For me, it’s one way of unearthing an answer to a personal issue. Ok, this is deep. Haha! For a long time, I’ve been in crossroads with decisions in living abroad. My mother has been very supportive of this idea (Dad’s so clingy) and I really appreciate it. She told me to pray hard about it. And yes, I did and still am. Maybe you’re asking what I am planning to do there; Well, I am to work or study or both. Alone! I know it’s going to be very hard for me – who never tried living away from home. Another thing, I am not that street smart, thus, I have a tendency to depend on particular people around me! Oh gosh. I just extremely hope that my destination would make things certain and meaningful for me. Do you have any ideas of the places in my list? The choices I’m facing are Bangkok, New Zealand, Italy, Singapore, Australia and New York. My mother wants New Zealand because the environment is less stressful. But as of this writing, we are now more inclined with New York. Ironic, I know! Nevertheless, as long as I am able to survive and gain more wisdom, the heavens will guide me!

On to our fashion content, the flag print on my top inspired me to write about what I’m going through right now. Although UK is not in my choices, I love the country and all the things printed with their flag on. It’s a quick-witted print solution to every style blogger!

And oh, how I love my new sleek heels.

What do you think of the look?

Dress and vest Sister’s | Boots Coute |Necklace From my mom

Okay, before anything else, I am sharing to you that I am writing this post while eating huge marshmallows, home-made S’mores and pancakes with some good soundtrack as background from an American series I am currently addicted to. Now, it’s really sinking down that I’m actually singing along with the songs. Haha. With feelings and dance moves. Haha. Yes yes, facial expressions, too!  In fact, there are a lot of things I’m very much comfortable doing while blogging. Can you take a guess? Don’t make me start with how my body (specifically my legs) is positioned! Looking at myself, it simply gives me a couple of seconds to laugh. Even so, who wouldn’t like to do some activity in a situation which she/he is feeling well-suited. Come’ on!

On to the look, I wanted to portray something casual that says there is something more with floral dresses.  The warm-shade dress does not just show small floral prints but also has layers after the semi-empire-cut from the top.  So what do I mean by “something more with floral..”? Simple, consider different moods other than feeling too breezy. Let’s say from what I wore, with a girly sleeveless dress, I added an acid-washed denim vest with ankle-booties. This way, the entire look appears edgier. Another example, a maxi floral dress layered with a blazer in bold dark color (Don’t forget to choose the hue that is present in the flora dress). Spice it up with chunky dark necklaces, single-stone earrings and a studded clutch. With the shoes, I prefer not to show them with maxi’s (except if there’s a sexy slit). But an adorable wedge will do.

What do you say?

Teal top Express | Chocolate shorts Oxygen | Clogs PRP | Stone necklace From Sri Lanka

There is a saying in my mind “When in doubt, wear shorts.” Yup! Some bloggers are also hesitant with the looks they make – base from some bloggers I know in the country. I mean, style bloggers aren’t robots who automatically think of an outfit, do it then look perfect. Most of the time, there’s a trial and error phase. Let’s say for both ladies and gents, wearing shorts is a safe line to stay hip. This is where mix & matching comes in. Whether you buy new stuff or re-use clothes, having all the rage feeling tones down to right styling. Style it in a different way and you’ll grasp a wider picture of looks.

This post shows a safe approach to pairing shorts with a loose blouse. Nothing but a stone necklace to match the rain forest-themed (Haha!) look is what I needed. The long-sleeved top had plunging front and back seams exposing skin! I love it! Last thing, fewer complications happen when you pair heels on the same hue with the shorts you’re wearing. Why? It’s quicker to get the drift and turns out that you have long legs!

What do you think? Would love to hear from you!

A THOUGHT I WANT TO SHARE

Dress Local Bazaar | Shoes Satchi Store | Scarf Calvin Klein | Mickey M. necklace and earrings HK Disneyland

First thing’s first, I apologize for posting another look after more than a week — Been caught up with a lot of things going on in my mind. Though I’m going to say this just now, I totally admit that many people may enter your life (and maybe get to know a part of you) but all of them won’t stay beside you forever (or at least the time you thought it’d last). It’s fun meeting different people! We build relationships with friends and people around us by fondness of each other. But it takes no less than boldness and ingenuousness to preserve sincerity to each other. Right? Even celebrities know for certain that most of their people connections they encounter and create are going to last for a particular duration. Of course, these celebrities wouldn’t be entering the industry without being prepared for some raw scraps! Same thing with ordinary citizens, learning to let go of people is essential to hoard spaces for more deserving ones.

I’m glad I am able to do lines about what I am currently feeling. So I think the outfit matches how I feel. In some itsy-bitsy way, I am pretentious of the differing and puzzling circumstances happening. The black jersey dress reminds me of how I sometimes look aloof from reality. I missed a few important things in life. But that doesn’t speak the whole of me. That is why, a good bright color on me (as what I’ve noticed – Haha!) will add a turn of phrase in an insensate sentence. Teal lifts my attitude! Not only the look but the aura I’ve been having.

Thus, remember this, my dear readers: Allow yourself to release your should-be emotions. Love yourself and go against the grain. When you fail at some point, stand up and say “I’ll open another door.”
