This post is long overdue. I intended to post this before my most recent trip but time circumstances didn’t spare me time. Boohoo. I left my laptop at home and I’m not that comfortable in using my iPad for posting blog entries. Hehe. But glad to know that I still read messages from readers! And oh, I just knew about 4 new readers of my blog last night. (Yay! Coming from an unpopular style blogger) How? Well, they extended their admiration through Facebook chat. Cute! Thanks you! I really appreciate your effort and boldness in saying all those things!
It has been weeks since I last posted in my blog and, honestly, I’m piled with outfit shots in my drive! I’ve been in and out of Davao, trying to figure out a more stable path.
Let me share this with you. With the thoughts I made and encounters I had, it never fails me to believe an idea that will always guide you all throughout. An idea that anyone should bear in mind (forever? Haha) and no less than practice it too. When you plan and try hard to reach the top, two things should be kept in mind. One, in the process of working your ass to your crown, DO NOT STEP ON ANYONE. Even with pressure, it’s never good to take advantage of people and their weaknesses for the sake of your brief success. I mean, that is just pure evil! If some people are in your way, you have to persist. Try different things before learning what really works for you. I think doing the same thing is not enough. If you aim high from a dirty course of attitude, it is possible that you also drag some negative vibes on to your victory bubble. So what’s the way out? Refuse to dip into the mud in the first place.
Second, when you’re sure you have taken a big step to success, KEEP YOUR CLEAN FEET ON THE GROUND. I know that you all know, what that means – humility. It’s when people gives you compliments your personality, praises your works and flatters your way of thinking, you stay modest about it. You shouldn’t act as if you are the only best thing that ever happened to everyone. Thinking you are different than anybody else may either make you or break you. Get a grip of yourself! The only difference between you and other people is that you see things from a different stance. Do not be arrogant and carried away by the flood of prizes you get.
Even when you’re still in the course of success, act as if you already succeeded. It does make a difference. But be humbly positive and enjoy life!
Alright! On the fashion segment, this not so conventional corporate look describes me I guess. Trying to pull of singe-strand jewelry, I keep an eye on looking posh-smart. Achieve ko ba? (Did I achieve it?) Haha!
Comment your heart out!
